I bought a couch from levins that would replace my old couch. Trying to get the couch into my apartment the thing gets all scrapped up and it would not go.

So I returned it and the manager said that he cannot take it because it’s damaged. Well then why did I pay for fabric warranty if the fabric is not allowed to get accidentally damaged. By the way it says accidentally damaged in a single relatable occurrence.

Then the manager decides to give me a little under $200 for my couch and rip me out of the $478.28 that I have paid. Why is this not illegal?

It's not illegal because you damaged the couch.

The circumstances are questionable.

Measure your furniture BEFORE you buy it.

I think you're lucky to get anything at all back if you moved it yourself.
